Apple re-create a buzz by submitting a patent document which shows a cellular phone that is fully made of glass.
Apple's future devices formed from the "hollow glass tube", two pieces of glass are glued together. Material that will be transparent to radio waves and thus sealed waterproof bags.
iPhone 4 and 4S is actually not so far away from that idea because it is formed of two pieces of glass but bonded with steel frame. Although it sounds sophisticated but actually some of the problems then arise. For example, if the fall would be more easily broken.
Second, in the body of the phone is full of sensors and the transparent surface will certainly disrupt the function of the sensors. Apple it self says could cope with it because some part of the phone was deliberately blurred.
"The reason to use glass because glass is stronger, stiffer, and radio transparent making it suitable to be material to a device that can run the wireless function," wrote Apple in the patent.
"The frame of glass can make electronic devices more unique, more attractive appearance, and smooth," said Apple added.
