Nokia Officially Acquisition Specialist Imaging Company Scalado

Nokia has just announced that they had just bought all the technology property and intellectual from a company called Scalado AB. Scalado itself is a specialized company working in the field of imaging.

In such transactions, Nokia gained no less than 50 world-class imaging specialists. And, the technology is expected will be embedded in a Nokia mobile phone camera. Of course, this technology will provide improved image quality of cameras in mobile phones serve targeted.


"We believe that this acquisition will strengthen the position of Nokia in the mobile imaging and provides greater opportunities to create products and better imaging applications," said Executive VP Smard Devices Nokia, Jo Harlow.

He also said that the employees of Nokia will be very pleased to work together with employees of Scalado. And, they also plan to embed the technology in cell phones Lumia series.

Sami Niemi who is Co-founder Scalado who now serves as head of Smart Capture and Relive Devices Nokia said it was very pleased with the acquisition. "The technology and competence we have developed should be able to help than to take a photograph to capture the memory and emotion," Niemi said as quoted from Softpedia.
 
Unfortunately, the Nokia did not mention how much they spend to acquire a company based in Lund, Sweden.
